Ghost Woman lands at The Bodega Nottingham on 9 September 2026 with a set that leans into the project’s stripped-back, hypnotic take on rock. Initiated by Canadian musician Evan Uschenko and now honed into a duo with Belgian drummer Ille van Dessel, Ghost Woman pushes psych rock toward a garage edge: dry guitars, spare songwriting, repetitive motifs, and a tension that favors suggestion over grand gestures. From the albums Ghost Woman (2022), Anne, If (2023) and Hindsight Is 50/50 (2024) emerges a palette in which electric folk brushes against discreet kraut pulses and a post-punk nervousness. On stage, the formula is pared to the bone—minimalist yet precise—with crisp dynamics and a direct energy inherited from the independent circuits they have travelled since the early 2020s.
