On 25 June 2026 at The Dome, London (2A Dartmouth Park Hill, N19 5QH), Balance & Composure share the bill with Glitterer for a night rooted in the US emo and post-hardcore lineage.
Formed in 2007 in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, Balance and Composure shaped a sound that threads emo urgency, post-hardcore edges and alternative rock moods. Early EPs led to a split with Tigers Jaw, then the albums Separation (2011), The Things We Think We’re Missing (2013) and Light We Made (2016), tracing a move from tense, melodic guitars toward broader, more atmospheric textures. After a pause and a farewell run, they resurfaced in 2023 with the Will Yip–produced single Too Quick to Forgive, followed by the 2024 album With You in Spirit with Dennis Wilson on drums, material that now anchors their live set.
Glitterer, the project led by Ned Russin (Title Fight), began as a solo, home-recorded outlet before expanding into a full band. Compact songs, plain-spoken vocals and minimal electronics defined the EPs Glitterer (2017) and Not Glitterer (2018); the albums Looking Through The Shades (2019), Life Is Not A Lesson (2021) and Rationale (2023) push toward lean guitars, melodic bass lines and restrained keys. The writing stays concise, circling themes of identity, doubt and the everyday, carried with the directness of the DIY circuits that shaped the project.
