Fink

Fink returns to Resident Music, 28 Kensington Gardens, Brighton and Hove, on 13 June 2026 for an in-store live set followed by a signing, marking the release of his new album, The City Is Coming To Erase It All. Led by singer-guitarist Fin Greenall, Fink first emerged on the Ninja Tune circuit with downtempo and trip hop before pivoting in the mid-2000s toward a lean folk and blues songwriting style. Since Biscuits for Breakfast, the project often takes the form of a trio with bass and drums, giving the songs a tight pulse, sparse arrangements and hypnotic, looping melodies. Albums like Distance and Time, Sort of Revolution, Perfect Darkness, Hard Believer, Resurgam and Bloom Innocent have mapped this path, alongside ventures into live and orchestral formats, including a collaboration with the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra.

This in-store brings the music into close focus: voice and guitar front and centre, with the nuanced dynamics that define Fink on stage. New material sits alongside earlier tracks, played a few feet from the racks, with a signing session right after.
