Kurt Vile & The Violators land at Den Atelier in Luxembourg City on 29 August 2026, touring behind Philadelphia’s Been Good to Me, a self-produced ode to his hometown released for America’s 250th year. On stage, Vile stretches the songs with precise nonchalance, between relaxed picking, raw electric guitars and that half-spoken, half-sung voice that floats above the washes. The new repertoire, nourished by memories, places and everyday gestures, calls on long-time collaborators and slips in nods to the Philly lineage without losing the melodic thread.
Expect a back-and-forth between new material and milestones from his catalogue, from Smoke Ring for My Halo and Wakin on a Pretty Daze to B'lieve I'm Goin Down..., Bottle It In and (watch my moves). With The Violators, the live show breathes warmth and a more subdued intimacy, moving by hypnotic motifs and sudden surges, letting the guitars tell as much as the lyrics. A road-tested, unvarnished version of Vile’s songwriting—expansive yet grounded—that turns the stage into a Philadelphia stroll for an evening in Luxembourg.
