Ke-Yen, a DJ and producer from Perth, develops a hybrid world that blends house, hard groove, trance and speed garage. Supported by X-Coast, Skin On Skin and Interplanetary Criminal, his productions have been played at festivals such as Tomorrowland, Pitch and Boomtown.
Animistic Beliefs, a duo based in Rotterdam, fuses IDM, electro and global club with Moluccan, Vietnamese and Chinese influences. Straddling live performance and audiovisual experimentation, they have released music on labels such as Cultivated Electronics, brokntoys and Solar One, and have shared the bill with DJ Stingray, Helena Hauff and Jlin.
