Barenaked Ladies return to the UK on 9 December 2026 at Albert Hall, Manchester, with their blend of alt-rock and pop laced with folk shades, quick wordplay and tight harmonies. Formed in Toronto in 1988, the group first made noise at home with Gordon, then reached a wider audience with Stunt and Maroon, before a steady run of records that kept the songwriting sharp, from Everything to Everyone to Detour de Force in 2021. Today’s lineup brings together Ed Robertson, Jim Creeggan, Tyler Stewart and Kevin Hearn, a quartet known for agile arrangements, onstage banter and a taste for sideways turns. They also wrote the theme for The Big Bang Theory, a neat snapshot of their ear for hooks and pacing. Live, the band leans into harmony singing, nimble grooves and a catalogue spanning three decades, shifting from acoustic textures to electric punch with a casual ease that suits their conversational style.
