On 7 October 2026 Home Free will play the Volkshaus Zürich. The five-piece formation from Minnesota stands for country without instruments: only voices, a deep bass, beatbox and tight harmonies. Since 2001 the band has been refining this approach; in the early 2010s they sharpened their country profile, and their nationwide breakthrough came in 2013 when they won the fourth season of The Sing-Off.

Live, Home Free mix original songs and new arrangements that range from modern country through folk and pop to gospel and Christmas colours — consistently a cappella. The current lineup on stage is Adam Rupp, Rob Lundquist, Tim Foust, Adam Chance and Adam Bell-Bastien; solos and roles shift, the bass lays the foundation and vocal percussion provides the pulse.

Their discography charts the development: Crazy Life (2014), Country Evolution (2015), Timeless (2017), Dive Bar Saints (2019), So Long Dixie (2022), As Seen on TV (2023) as well as Crazy(er) Life and Any Kind of Christmas (both 2024). Collaborations with Kenny Rogers, the Oak Ridge Boys, Don McLean and Peter Hollens demonstrate the breadth of their vocal cosmos. In Zurich they will bring this mix pure and entirely vocal to the stage.
