Yaelokre

Filipino-Icelandic singer-songwriter and multimedia artist Yaelokre brings the Meadowlark universe to O2 Academy Bristol on 27 October 2026. Led by Keath Ósk, the project sits between Reykjavík and the Philippines, where acoustic folk meets OPM and contemporary folk-pop. The songs lean on uncluttered melodies, a clear voice and light arrangements, with storytelling at the center.

Since emerging in 2024, Yaelokre has unfolded Meadowlark across music, illustration and stagecraft, with masked characters that echo and answer each other. The debut EP, Hayfields (2024), set the tone and introduced Harpy Hare, a track that circulated widely online the same year. The thread continued with Songs of Origin (2024) and Origins (2025), deepening the perspectives of the figures at the core of the project.

On stage, expect a focused, narrative-led set where costumes and masks shape the mood, sometimes solo, sometimes with a band. In 2025, Yaelokre also opened for Aurora in Manila, extending the project’s reach while keeping its intimate frame.
