Yaelokre

Yaelokre brings Meadowlark to O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire, London, on 29 October 2026. Led by Filipino-Icelandic singer-songwriter and multimedia artist Keath Ósk, the project blends acoustic folk, OPM and contemporary folk-pop into a narrative world where songs, drawings and stagecraft intersect. The music leans on pared-back melodies and a voice up front, with light arrangements that leave space for the story to unfold.

On stage, Yaelokre often appears in costume and behind masks tied to the Meadowlark mythology, sometimes joined by a small band. The set moves like chapters, with characters that echo each other and visuals that extend the songs’ imagery without overloading them. Since emerging in 2024, the project has mapped out this universe through releases: the debut EP Hayfields introduced it with Harpy Hare, which circulated widely online; then Songs of Origin the same year, and Origins in 2025, each digging deeper into the figures at its core. In concert, that thread is carried with restraint and clarity, shaping an intimate tale told in music rather than a conventional set.
