The Rezillos play Thekla on 15 January 2027 at 7:00 pm. The Rezillos are a punk/new wave band formed in Edinburgh, Scotland, in 1976. Their independent debut single, I Can't Stand My Baby, gained underground attention via airplay on BBC Radio 1's John Peel show.
Their follow-up singles included My Baby Does Good Sculptures, Top of the Pops and Destination Venus. The Rezillos recorded their album Can't Stand the Rezillos at Power Station studio in New York and played a gig at CBGB. The album reached the top 10 in the UK album chart.
