High Fade

High Fade bring their funk-rock engine to Belgrave Music Hall, Leeds, on 23 October 2026. Formed on the streets, the Glasgow trio – Harry Valentino (guitar, vocals), Oliver Sentence (bass) and Heath Campbell (drums) – shape a stripped-back sound that hits hard: percussive bass lines, tight drums, clipped guitar and vocal hooks built for movement. On stage, they lean into disco-funk drive and jam-room spontaneity, flipping grooves that swell, break and snap back into focus. From busking beginnings to clubs and festivals, the band keeps the focus on feel and precision rather than frills.

Expect nods to the tracks that put them on the map – Burnt Toast & Coffee, Gossip, Burnin – and their take on Herbie Hancock’s Chameleon, but the core of the show is chemistry. With just three players, they stack interlocking rhythms and pocket playing, trade quick-fire riffs and leave space for lines to breathe before locking in again. Direct, physical and dance-forward, it’s a live set designed to keep the floor moving.
