Ólafur Arnalds

Ólafur Arnalds brings Falling Apart Together to Eventim Apollo, London, on 6 October 2026. The Icelandic composer, pianist and producer returns with a concert hybrid built around 19 attempts at dismantling the distance between performers and audience. Through pieces spanning his past and newly written material, he explores the protective layers we build, the moments when they shake, and what we share when we let them slip.

Alongside a close-knit team of musicians and designers, Arnalds blends pianos, strings and understated electronics, showing the workings as much as the finished sound. Familiar threads from re:member and some kind of peace are reimagined, sitting next to new ideas that push his palette in quieter, more exposed directions. The set unfolds less like a playlist and more like chapters, shifting from intimate fragments to wider swells, letting motifs open into space and conversation.

Falling Apart Together asks what becomes possible when things come slightly undone, turning that fragility into the heart of the night.
