Info
On 1 August 2026 at The Underworld, London, Life of Agony revisits the two poles of its early years with a set drawn from River Runs Red and Ugly. The Brooklyn band leans into the contrast that shaped its identity: River Runs Red with its heavy, groove-led charge and a sense of urgency that hits straight in the gut; Ugly turning the lights down, thickening the textures and working slower, brooding tempos and a more atmospheric, inward pull. Side by side, these songs map out tension and release, weight and melody, and the way the group shifted its sound without losing its core.
After last year’s European run centered on Ugly skipped the UK, this London date finally brings several of those tracks to a local stage, balanced with staples from River Runs Red. The show is built to reflect who Life of Agony was in the early 90s and how that voice still resonates today, carried by the band’s chemistry and a focus on dynamics, emotion and punch.
