On 23 May 2026 at 6:00 PM the Locomotiv Club in Bologna will host Laïoung and his band Rare Kind for a live show that brings to the stage the full sonic identity of Asante, the new record project that embodies the artist’s urban fusion vision. The work weaves together different languages, influences and cultures into a contemporary sound, free from constraints and distinguished by an intense and distinctive artistic imprint.

Asante — a Swahili word meaning “thank you,” expressing a deep sense of gratitude toward everyone who has accompanied Laïoung on this journey, from his team and family to the fans who have supported his artistic evolution — is more than an album: it is the expression of a personal, ever-evolving musical universe where hip hop, trap, R&B, reggaeton, amapiano and dancehall naturally coexist, creating an international and deeply identity-driven sonic language. Each track reflects Laïoung’s artistic vision: immersive melodies, pulsing rhythms and global influences intertwine in an authentic narrative that blends introspection, spirituality and cultural cross-pollination.

Live, this universe takes shape through a full-band performance in which energy, stage presence and musical exploration merge into an intense and engaging experience. The show is designed to transport the audience into the aesthetic and imagination of Asante, turning the concert into an immersive, contemporary sonic journey.

The evening will be opened by emerging artists from the Bologna scene who belong to the RRR network, an initiative dedicated to promoting new voices in urban culture and creating connections between artists, communities and live music. The names of the opening acts will be announced in the coming days.
