On 10 September 2026 at Bristol Beacon, Bristol, Todd Rundgren brings a songbook in constant motion. From his late-60s start with Nazz to solo albums like Runt, Something/Anything? and A Wizard, a True Star, he writes melodies that sit next to power-pop riffs, Philly soul shades and synth textures. With Utopia he moved into prog and pop suites, a taste for open forms that still shapes his live sets. Later records from Hermit of Mink Hollow to Liars, White Knight and Space Force keep widening the palette.
On stage, Rundgren moves between eras, shifting from tight guitar hooks to layered harmonies, from piano confessionals to sequenced grooves. The songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer behind sessions for Badfinger, New York Dolls, Grand Funk Railroad, Meat Loaf and XTC brings a studio thinker’s ear to the stage, for a set guided by writing, experimentation and a steady curiosity.
