The Feeling

The Feeling bring their melodic pop-rock craft to O2 Academy Oxford on 6 November 2026. Formed in Sussex around singer-guitarist Dan Gillespie Sells, bassist Richard Jones, the brothers Kevin and Ciaran Jeremiah, and drummer Paul Stewart, the band came up through years of session work and hard touring. Their songwriting balances guitar and piano, tight vocal harmonies and clear production, somewhere between soft rock and power pop with a distinctly British touch.

A first run of singles in 2005–2006 set the pace ahead of the breakthrough album Twelve Stops and Home (2006), followed by Join with Us (2008) and Together We Were Made (2011), which features a duet with Sophie Ellis-Bextor. They continued with Boy Cried Wolf (2013) and a self-titled record in 2016. During a pause, Dan Gillespie Sells co-wrote the music for the stage musical Everybody’s Talking About Jamie, before the group returned with Loss. Hope. Love. (2022) and San Vito (2024).

In Oxford, the band line up the hooks and harmonies that define their sound, weaving newer tracks with fan favourites and leaning on a no-frills, song-first approach that suits them on stage.
