Avery*Sunshine returns to London for a four-night residency at Soul Mama Islington on Sunday 28 June 2026. Her music fuses soul, jazz and R&B.
A Chester, Pennsylvania native, Avery*Sunshine is a pianist, singer, songwriter and producer. She graduated from Spelman College. Together with her husband and Grammy-nominated partner, Dana Johnson, she is based in Atlanta, where they develop their creative and entrepreneurial projects.
Her career includes four top-20 hits on the Billboard charts. "Call My Name" reached #1. She serves as a Board Governor for the Atlanta Chapter of the Recording Academy. She co-founded and is a partner in BigShine Recordings, a label for independent artists. She is also the founder of LouMack Beauty Cosmetics Corp.
She has toured in Asia, Europe, the UK and Australia. She is currently sharing the musical web series "So Glad To Know You," which explores her creative process.
