Info

At Brudenell Social Club in Leeds on 22 November 2026, Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats bring their shadowy blend of heavy riffing, psych swirl and 60s-stained garage grit. Formed in Cambridge around singer-guitarist Kevin Starrs, the band leans on slow, saturated guitars, stacked harmonies and a taste for B‑movie atmospheres. From the cult beginnings of Vol. 1 and Blood Lust through Mind Control and The Night Creeper to Wasteland, their catalogue traces a path of brooding narratives and hypnotic grooves. Nell’ Ora Blu (2024) pushes that cinematic streak further, and on stage the songs roll out like scenes: thick tones, creeping tension, choruses that cut through the fuzz. Expect a set that balances menace and melody, with riffs built to rumble the room.

The Wytches join with a tense, foggy take on garage, surf and psych shaped by post‑punk corners. Born in Peterborough and rooted in Brighton, the group around Kristian Bell and Daniel Rumsey drives abrasive guitars and nervy rhythms into concise, hook‑shaded songs. Annabel Dream Reader and All Your Happy Life set the early frame, while Three Mile Ditch and Our Guest Can’t Be Named sharpened the edges. Recent releases Replica and Talking Machine keep that grainy pull intact. Live, they move from jagged blasts to woozy drift without losing focus, a tight foil to Uncle Acid’s slow-burn weight.
