Machine Head

Machine Head plays O2 Victoria Warehouse on 15 May 2026. Fronted by singer-guitarist Robb Flynn, the Oakland band has spent three decades forging a heavy, precise blend of Bay Area thrash, groove and modern metal, carried by jagged riffs, weighty rhythms and a melodic sense that cuts through the storm. Their writing looks outward and inward in equal measure, touching on social tension, endurance and doubt, and it hits hard in the live space.

The set threads early fire with later craft: the blunt force of Burn My Eyes, the knotty architecture of The Blackening, the sharpened hooks of Unto the Locust, alongside newer tracks that widen the palette without losing impact. Guitars bite and drone, drums drive with mechanical focus, and vocal lines swing from a roar to a chant, pulling the room along.

Machine Head plays with momentum and control, stacking intensity in waves and letting songs breathe before locking back in, bridging eras without leaning on nostalgia.
