Info
Freya Ridings crafts piano- and guitar-led songs that move between pop, folk and soul, carried by a low, tactile voice and uncluttered arrangements. Breaking through in 2017 with Blackout and the stripped-back Lost Without You, she built momentum with a run of live recordings before releasing her self-titled debut in 2019, home to You Mean the World to Me and Castles. From early club shows to Glastonbury, she has shaped a set that balances intimate ballads and fuller band dynamics. In 2023, Blood Orange pushed her sound into wider, more detailed production while keeping the direct, confessional writing at the core; the same year, she co-wrote Rise for the film Ruby Gillman, Teenage Kraken.
On 24 September 2026 at Theatre Royal & Royal Concert Hall, Nottingham, Ridings reconnects with that journey on stage: piano moments where the melodies breathe, guitar-driven pop pulses, and the tracks that marked her rise alongside newer material. The set draws a clear line from her early live takes to the layered textures of Blood Orange, anchored by her voice and a focus on songcraft.
