Eagles of Death Metal

Eagles of Death Metal touch down in Leeds on 21 November 2026 for a night at Leeds Beckett Students’ Union. Formed in Palm Desert in 1998 out of the friendship between Jesse Hughes and Joshua Homme, the band distils garage grit, rock ’n’ roll swagger and sly humour into riff-driven songs made for the stage. At the centre is Hughes — vocalist, guitarist and a master of crowd banter — joined on this tour by Leah Bluestein (drums), Scott Shiflett (guitar) and Dustin Douglas (bass).

Live, EODM play tight: immediate hooks, driving tempos and slide-tinged grooves that sit somewhere between boogie blues and danceable rock. The set draws from their four albums — Peace Love Death Metal, Death By Sexy, Heart On and Zipper Down — featuring signature tracks like “I Only Want You” and “Miss Alissa,” alongside deeper cuts and possibly a nod to newly announced material. Two decades on the road have sharpened their command of the show: singalong choruses, unfiltered energy and the irreverence that defines the band.
