The Lemon Twigs

The Lemon Twigs bring their shapeshifting pop rock to Belfast on 27 May 2026 at Empire Music Hall. Formed by Long Island brothers Brian and Michael D’Addario, the band threads 60s/70s-tinged songwriting with a lean, modern edge. Raised in a musical family, the two built a shared language of close harmonies, melodic swerves and sharp arrangements that takes full form in concert. On stage they trade guitar, bass, drums and keys, moving from brisk power-pop rushes to slower ballads without losing the thread.

Since their debut Do Hollywood, through the narrative detours of Go to School, they’ve refined a more direct, bittersweet pop rock on Everything Harmony and A Dream Is All We Know. The live set folds these phases together: tight vocal stacks, sudden tempo changes, chiming riffs and touches of orchestration, delivered by a band primed for quick pivots. It’s a show anchored in craft and interplay, where the brothers’ instrument swaps and vocal blend drive songs that nod to classic pop while keeping the focus firmly on the present.
