On 7 November 2026, Electric Bristol hosts a stacked deathcore bill: three co-headliners share the stage, Despised Icon, Carnifex and Suffocation, with Gates To Hell opening.
Despised Icon land from Montreal with the dual-vocal attack of Alex Erian and Steve Marois and a set orbiting Shadow Work (2025). Their blend of technical death metal and hardcore stays tight and direct, driven by precision riffs, rapid-fire drums and barked exchanges, with new material featuring guests from Kublai Khan TX, Carnifex and Chelsea Grin.
Carnifex push their blackened strain of deathcore, threading cold atmospheres through blunt riffs and breakdowns. Across nearly two decades, Scott Ian Lewis and Shawn Cameron have steered the band toward darker textures; Necromanteum (2023) anchors the current era, swinging from blast-heavy surges to slow, ominous churn.
Suffocation bring New York death metal at full tilt. From Effigy of the Forgotten, Breeding the Spawn and Pierced From Within to Hymns from the Apocrypha (2023), their catalog mixes whiplash tempo shifts, palm-muted labyrinths and cavernous growls, with Terrance Hobbs and Derek Boyer at the core.
Louisville’s Gates To Hell open with a metal-hardcore crossover built on fast death metal riffs and heavy breakdowns. After a self-titled debut in 2022 and the follow-up Death Comes to All in 2025, they arrive honed by heavy touring and ready to set the tone.
