Shed Seven

Shed Seven land at O2 Academy Bournemouth on 10 December 2026 for a show that traces their path from the early 90s to now. Formed in York in 1990, the band shaped a sound at the crossroads of britpop, alternative and indie rock: melodic guitars, direct choruses and a no-frills live approach led by frontman Rick Witter with longtime ally Tom Gladwin on bass. First sharpened on the UK live circuit, their run of albums Change Giver (1994), A Maximum High (1996) and Let It Ride (1998) carried their tracks onto airwaves and into packed rooms throughout the decade. After a break in the 2000s, they reignited on stage from 2007 and returned to the studio with Instant Pleasures in 2017, then kept the momentum with A Matter of Time and Liquid Gold in 2024. In Bournemouth, they bring a set that folds early staples into recent cuts, with guitars upfront and choruses designed to be thrown back at the stage, the product of three decades of writing and touring.
