Info
Wet Wet Wet bring Celebrating 40 Years of ‘Popped In Souled Out’ to The Anvil, Basingstoke, on 11 February 2027. Formed in Clydebank near Glasgow, the band carved out a pop-soul identity in the late 80s with sing-along melodies, tender ballads and crisp pop-rock. Now fronted by Kevin Simm, alongside long-time members Tommy Cunningham, Graeme Clark and Neil Mitchell with guitarist Graeme Duffin, they revisit the debut that started it all in 1987. Expect the spirit of those first sessions to resurface, with carefully crafted arrangements and that melodic pull that has anchored their catalogue from The Memphis Sessions to The Journey.
Support: Roachford. Led by Andrew Roachford, the London project blends rock, R&B and soul around his voice and keyboards, favouring strong choruses, groove-led rhythms and uncluttered production. From early breakthroughs to albums like Feel, Encore and Twice in a Lifetime, Roachford has kept a straight-ahead songwriting line that lands cleanly on stage, setting the tone before Wet Wet Wet with tight musicianship and a soulful edge.
