Alkaline Trio

Alkaline Trio land at O2 Ritz Manchester on 8 July 2026 with their Chicago-bred mix of punk rock, pop-punk and emo. Formed in 1996, the trio has built a catalogue that runs from Goddamnit and From Here to Infirmary to Good Mourning and Crimson, with the alternating voices of Matt Skiba and Dan Andriano au cœur du son. Dark humour, romantic wreckage and a gothic tint feed their melodic punch, recent tracks from Blood, Hair, and Eyeballs slotting naturally alongside the cuts that shaped their identity. Expect taut riffs, sharp choruses and that bittersweet grit the band has refined over the years.

Anthony Green & The Boom Done Band open the night with the elastic tenor and nerve that made him the voice of Circa Survive and an early member of Saosin. In solo mode, Green leans into intimate, high-wire songwriting that threads indie rock warmth through post-hardcore roots, carried here by The Boom Done Band. His set draws on his solo catalogue, including the raw contours introduced on Boom. Done., channelling confessional lyrics, airy melodies and sudden surges that flip from fragile to fervent in a breath.
