Yonaka

On 3 October 2026, Yonaka land at O2 Forum Kentish Town in London with their sharp mix of alternative rock, pop instincts and a touch of punk. Formed in Brighton around Theresa Jarvis (vocals), George Werbrouck-Edwards (guitar), Alex Crosby (bass, keys) and Robert Mason (drums), the band has built a sound that balances heavy guitars, direct hooks and rhythms that nod to hip-hop and contemporary pop. Early EPs Heavy, Teach Me To Fight and Creature set the tone for their rise across UK venues and festivals, and the debut album Don’t Wait ’Til Tomorrow pushed more intimate themes, including mental health, into the foreground. With the Seize The Power mixtape, Yonaka widened their palette, bringing a hybrid approach to songwriting and production, then refined it further on the 2023 EP Welcome To My House, where punchy riffs meet clean, accessible structures. On stage, the quartet moves easily from tight, riff-driven tension to chant-ready refrains, stitching newer tracks to fan favourites with crisp dynamics and a focused, no-fuss delivery.
