Dance Gavin Dance land at O2 Forum Kentish Town, London, on 12 September 2026 with their distinctive take on post-hardcore, where experimental turns, progressive shifts and flashes of funk and R&B collide. Formed in Sacramento in 2005 around guitarist Will Swan and unclean vocalist Jon Mess, the band thrives on contrast: screamed and clean call-and-response, melodic guitar lines, and songs that break and rebuild mid-track. Since Tilian Pearson took over clean vocals on Acceptance Speech in 2013, they’ve honed a balance of mathy riffs, pop-leaning hooks and psych-shaded textures across records like Instant Gratification, Mothership, Artificial Selection, Afterburner and Jackpot Juicer.
Joining the bill, Nottingham outfit As December Falls bring a sharp pop-punk and alternative rock blend driven by Bethany Hunter’s voice, brisk tempos and guitar-forward energy. Their writing leans on direct hooks and lyrics that sift through relationships, doubt, mental health and social pressure. From the self-titled debut in 2019 to Happier. in 2021 and Join The Club in 2023, the quartet has kept a DIY approach that translates on stage into tight, no-frills sets built for singalongs and momentum.
