On 5 June 2026 at Rescue Rooms in Nottingham, DEADLETTER bring a language-driven, stage-forward approach. Formed in London by a group of friends, the band writes like editors and performs like a moving text: songs built in sequences, clipped phrases, recurring motifs, breaks that reset the pulse, ideas stacked with precise timing. Words lead, syntax counts, and the stage becomes a place to reorganise, interrupt and expand material in real time. Their DIY roots show in a taste for self-organisation, independent circuits and rooms that keep audiences close. Sets pivot between scansion and rupture, punchlines and spoken asides, using performance as a live draft rather than a fixed object. Narrative runs like rhythm, groove works like punctuation, and the band plays with collective focus and timing shaped across festivals and small venues.
