Fear Factory bring the Cybernetic Domination Tour to The 1865, Southampton on 9 October 2026. For more than three decades, the Los Angeles outfit has pushed industrial metal forward, fusing abrasive guitars and mechanised grooves with electronic layers. Their songwriting probes technology, artificial intelligence and the human condition, carried by that trademark contrast between serrated growls and clear choruses, and those tight, staccato riffs locked to relentless rhythms. On stage, the band draws from a deep catalogue that runs from the genre-defining Demanufacture to their more recent releases, keeping the focus on precision, pulse and a dystopian edge built for the live room.
Joining the bill are Crystal Lake, standard-bearers of Japanese metalcore with hardcore roots and razor-sharp dynamics, and Hate, pillars of Poland’s extreme scene whose blackened death metal leans into occult atmospheres and weighty structures. The Nocturnal Affair complete the line-up, adding a dark, melodic counterpoint to the evening. Three distinct approaches to heaviness setting the tone before Fear Factory switch the room into full cybernetic mode.
