Born Elliot John Gleave in West London, the rapper, singer and producer has built a catalogue at the crossroads of UK rap, hip house and club-focused electronic pop, where spoken verses switch into sung hooks over eurodance- and EDM-leaning productions. After early independent singles and debut album What We Made, he shifted gears with Won’t Go Quietly in 2010, then Playing in the Shadows and The Evolution of Man, collaborating with figures from the UK electronic scene such as Sub Focus and Nero. The path continued with Live Life Living and the Bangers & Ballads project, the more rap-centred Some Nights Last for Days in 2020, and We May Grow Old But We Never Grow Up in 2022.
