Against The Current

Against The Current bring their sharp pop rock and pop punk mix to London on 4 November 2026 at O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire. Formed in New York in the early 2010s, the trio — vocalist Chrissy Costanza, guitarist Dan Gow and drummer Will Ferri — built its name on melodic hooks, tight rhythms and a front-and-centre vocal presence, blending driving guitars with pop and electronic textures. On stage, the band leans into concise, high-tempo songwriting drawn from their early EPs Infinity and Gravity, their debut album In Our Bones and the more synth-led Past Lives, along with the darker, more direct cuts from the Fever EP.

Their track Legends Never Die, created with Riot Games for the League of Legends World Championship, widened their reach and regularly features in setlists, alongside staples from across their catalogue. The show centres on Costanza’s lead vocals, the guitar-and-drum interplay and choruses made for sing-alongs, with a pace that keeps things moving from one hook to the next.
