The Long Ryders
The Long Ryders, early figures in the alt-country movement, return to the stage. Fusing punk energy with country rock harmonies, the band bridged the gap between Gram Parsons and today's Americana acts, influencing Wilco, the Jayhawks, and Uncle Tupelo.
Formed in Los Angeles, the band released albums including Native Sons and State of Our Union, featuring Looking for Lewis & Clark. Their sound blends 12-string guitars, harmonies, and a roots-driven approach.
After the 2019 album Psychedelic Country Soul, they recorded September November, their first album since the passing of bassist Tom Stevens.
The Long Ryders will play at Metronome, Nottingham, on 13 October 2026 at 6:00 pm.
