Theo Katzman brings finely crafted songs and groove-driven musicianship to Òran Mór in Glasgow on 14 June 2026. The New York–born multi-instrumentalist emerged from Michigan’s rock and funk scene, splitting his time between Vulfpeck and a solo path that blends 70s-influenced pop rock, soul and folk. His records lean on concise arrangements, vocal harmonies and melodies that frame candid, sometimes wry lyrics: Romance Without Finance (2011), Heartbreak Hits (2017), Modern Johnny Sings: Songs in the Age of Vibe (2020) and Be the Wheel (2024).

On stage, Katzman moves between guitar, drums and vocals, steering a set where supple grooves meet acoustic ballads. The live format can shift—from a lean band to collaborators from the Vulfpeck circle—but the focus stays the same: songs built on pocket, harmony and clear, unfussy hooks. At Òran Mór, Glasgow gets a night centred on songwriting and musicianship, with material that draws from across his catalogue and the influences that shaped it.
