Drake Milligan

Drake Milligan lands at O2 Institute Birmingham on 17 November 2026. The Mansfield, Texas native writes in the pocket of neo-traditional country, mixing barroom shuffle, honky-tonk swing and a streak of 50s rock’n’roll sparked by a long-standing Elvis fixation. Before finding his crowd on the country circuit, he portrayed Presley in the TV series Sun Records, then reached a wider U.S. audience with America’s Got Talent in 2022.

His first, self-titled EP in 2021 set the blueprint: voice up front, storytelling melodies, guitars that twang without excess. Dallas/Fort Worth (2022) pushed that approach further, balancing pedal-steel lilt with no-fuss arrangements and ballads built on clean, unfussy hooks. On stage, Milligan keeps things trim and live-first: tight band, straight-ahead rhythm section, and guitars with bite, shaped for two-step grooves as much as slow-burn narratives. Expect a set that moves between Texas tradition and modern Nashville, with the vocal, the groove and the song at the center in Birmingham.
