Info
Paledusk bring their shape-shifting metal from Fukuoka to London on 9 May 2026 at The Dome. Since the late 2010s, the band has been pushing a hybrid take on heavy music, folding metalcore and nu metal into crisp electronic textures. Their 2019 EP Happy Talk set the tone: tracks that snap from low-tuned riffs to elastic rhythm breaks, then flip into sung hooks, trap-leaning beats or bass-heavy drops.
On stage, Paledusk lean into contrast. Harsh vocals collide with cleaner, pop-tinged lines, switching between Japanese and English. Guitars cut through chopped structures while samples and synths bring club accents and digital glitches. The set moves fast, stitching breakdowns, rap cadences and melodic refrains without smoothing the edges, more collage than crossover. It’s a live format built on sudden turns and tight dynamics, where electronics aren’t an add-on but part of the engine. An update from a Japanese scene that blends club culture, international metal codes and a digital aesthetic — all wired for impact in the room.
