Youth Code is a US American EBM duo, founded in 2012 by Sara Taylor and Ryan George in Los Angeles. In reference to early Wax Trax! releases, their music blends industrial with influences from hardcore. After a self-released demo cassette (2012) and an encounter with Psychic TV, their first single “Keep Falling Apart” was released on Angry Love Productions. This was followed by two studio albums, an EP and further singles.

In 2013 Youth Code signed to Dais Records, released their self-titled debut and toured as support for, among others, AFI, Suicide Commando and Nothing. They were covered by media outlets such as the Los Angeles Times and Pitchfork and in 2014 joined Skinny Puppy and Front Line Assembly on the Eye vs. Spy tour. In 2015 they opened Skinny Puppy’s Down the Sociopath tour and have been touring regularly ever since. Their second album, Commitment to Complications, was released in April 2016.
