Danyl

Danyl, a Franco‑Algerian rapper and producer born in 1998, grew up between Créteil and Paris’s 13th arrondissement, torn between conservatory piano and popular music: raï, chaâbi, French chanson and rap. Trained in music theory and classical music, he soon moved behind the machines, supplying instrumentals to SDM, Ninho and Bianca Costa, then tried the microphone under the name Hashey Sen with the EP Appels manqués and the 2020 project Partition, where melodic rap, North African colors and an introspective pen were already taking shape. On 15 October 2026, he performed at La Machinerie - Bizarre in Vénissieux.

Since 2020, Danyl has refined his approach in direct contact with his audience, through live creation sessions that feed his tracks. His return under his own name is organized around the Khedma trilogy: volumes 1 and 2 in 2023, Khedma 3 in 2024, with songs such as Billie Eilish, Galbi, Nouveau riche (with Karmen) or Bledi mon amour, often born in live sessions. He has also kept up a string of collaborations: Ti amo with Stony Stone, Ligne 9 with Tuerie, Les Zhommes with Zamdane, Zendaya, and appearances alongside Benab, Tawsen, Oxmo Puccino, Kore and Bianca Costa. On stage, his rap moves between autotuned singing, productions that are at times melancholic and at times sunlit, and references to his two cultural roots, with a direct connection to the audience that runs through both his recordings and his concerts.
