Monolord

Swedish trio Monolord bring their slow-burning doom and stoner heft to Legend Club Milano on 13 November 2026. Formed in Gothenburg in 2013, Thomas V. Jäger, Mika Häkki and Esben Willems are known for their signature heavily saturated riffs, a thick, granular bass tone and vocals that hover above the sonic mass. On stage the band plays with repetition, tension and melodic clarity, alternating long buildups with more direct songs, without losing the thread of a heavy, steady groove.

The set draws from their entire discography, from Empress Rising and Vænir to Rust, No Comfort and Your Time to Shine. The guitars carve simple but persistent lines, the rhythm section establishes a slow sway, and the dynamics breathe—between misty layers and blunt, impactful hits. Monolord do not overload; they pare things down: each motif is placed, stretched, then tightened to push the song forward without showmanship.
