Girli: The Opinionated Tour

GIRLI brings The Opinionated Tour to Warsaw on 12 October 2026 at Hydrozagadka. London musician Milly Toomey has shaped GIRLI into a pop project that slips between electronic hooks, indie textures and a punk edge. Since the mid-2010s, her tracks have mixed spoken-word cadences, melodic choruses and synthetic production, with lyrics digging into identity, relationships, mental health, gender and sexuality, drawn from urban youth and queer culture.

On stage, GIRLI keeps it direct: synths up front, club-leaning beats, guitars that bite when needed. The set navigates Odd One Out (2019), the Damsel in Distress EP (2021) and Matriarchy (2024), where early rap-leaning cuts now fold into a more melodic side built for sing-alongs. The tone stays candid and personal, shifting from confessional to confrontational in a breath, with tracks that map messy love, self-doubt, labels that don’t fit and small acts of resistance. A compact, room-sized show that trades polish for presence, with fresh material rubbing shoulders with songs that already resonate across the community.
