Finn Wolfhard brings The Common Side Effects Tour to Toronto at The Opera House on July 24, 2026. Vancouver-born, he has been building a parallel musical path since the late 2010s, first with Calpurnia, where he handled vocals, rhythm guitar and writing. That chapter leaned into alternative and indie rock, with short songs, straightforward guitars and a direct pull toward melody, captured on the 2018 EP Scout.

After Calpurnia, Wolfhard launched The Aubreys with drummer Malcolm Craig, first heard around the soundtrack for The Turning in 2020. The duo released the EP Soda & Pie that same year, then the album Karaoke Alone in 2021, keeping a lean, unfussy indie rock aesthetic.

In 2025, he signed his first solo album, Happy Birthday, pushing further into personal songwriting and tight pop formats shaped by North American indie culture. On stage, the tour foregrounds that voice and guitar-driven energy, with compact songs and a clear sense of melody. The night traces a line from his early band days to his current solo work, carried by concise structures and guitars that stay front and center.
