Down With Webster

Down With Webster hits the Edmonton EXPO Centre in Edmonton on July 19, 2026. Formed in Toronto’s Beaches in the late 1990s, the collective first took shape as an instrumental project steeped in jazz, funk and reggae before folding in rap and pop rock. Built on multiple voices, a rock backbone and a direct hip-hop approach, their identity sharpened on local stages and on their independent debut in 2007.

The breakthrough came with the Time to Win era, Vol. I (2009) and Vol. II (2011), where pop choruses, guitar drive, danceable rhythms and rapped verses met head-on. Party for Your Life followed in 2014 with a pop-leaning tilt that kept the group’s collective spark intact. After a pause mid-2010s, Down With Webster resurfaced around V in 2021 and returned to the road from 2024.

On stage, the band leans into call-and-response vocals, live instrumentation and hooks that bridge rap and rock without fuss. Expect a set that spans their arc, from early cuts to recent material, channeling the festival-ready energy and accessible edge that have defined their trajectory.
