Sina Bathaie « White Lotus World Tour »

On June 19, 2026 at Plaza Club in Zürich, Iranian-Canadian multi-instrumentalist and producer Sina Bathaie brings the White Lotus World Tour, a new chapter following Shade of Memory. On stage, he leans into improvisation and a clear dialogue between Eastern timbres and electronics. Centered on the santur, and moving to the oud and tar, his lines slide over synth textures and grounded rhythms, building long melodic arcs that shift and evolve in real time.

White Lotus gathers recent works shaped on the road across more than 30 countries and 70 cities, reflecting his current phase as a composer. The set draws on Persian modes while borrowing structures from electronica and progressive house, keeping the balance between pulse and detail. Expect live motifs that surface, transform and return, bright hammered patterns on the santur, and crescendos that nudge the room from contemplation to motion. It’s an instrumental performance that moves between concert focus and club energy, carried by Bathaie’s knack for weaving acoustic strings into modern soundscapes.
