On 30 May 2026, Smolna in Warsaw hosts German hard techno DJ and producer Johannes Schuster. Resident at 303, Unreal and the Artheater in Cologne, Schuster cut his teeth in vinyl culture as a teenager and still approaches the decks with that tactile mindset. His selections move through dark industrial textures, biting acid, rave energy and old-school groove, locking into a lean, percussive drive built for the floor.
In the studio he has released on Soma, Green Fetish, NineTimesNine, Voxnox and RND Records, a catalog that mirrors his focus on pressure, grit and clarity. On stage he plays fast and precise, favouring long blends, sudden swerves and stripped breakdowns that let the kick do the talking. High-BPM tension, serrated synths, jacking loops and flashes of classic warehouse feeling form the core of his sound at Smolna. A no-frills, physical session aimed squarely at dancers.
