Friday, May 29 at Wiggle Room Toronto, David Tort returns for an extended set and the WR Records release party for his new track, a personal tribute shaped by the energy of the room. Last year’s session sent him back to the studio; now he brings that material home to 772 Dundas Street West for a night built around the connection between booth and dancefloor.
Rooted in percussion-led house with tribal inflections, Tort stacks tense builds, rolling drums and lean basslines into steady momentum. Expect fresh originals, studio tweaks and catalog cuts tailored to Wiggle Room’s system, with long-form pacing that privileges flow over quick drops.
Setting the tone, Junior Lopez opens, TAKiN tightens the screws before Tort takes control, and Chris Campos steers the closing stretch. Visuals by VJ SEKS round out the experience.
