On 25 May 2026 Township Rebellion will be appearing at the Cassiopeia Club in Berlin. The German project moves between melodic techno, deep techno and progressive house, favouring long arcs of tension and a sense for dense, detail-rich atmospheres. Characteristic are powerful basslines, repetitive, distinctive motifs and textures that occasionally nod to trance or electronica, without losing sight of the dancefloor. Since the mid-2010s Township Rebellion has been present with releases on labels such as Stil vor Talent and Afterlife, thereby establishing itself in a context that combines club energy with a harmonic approach to composition.
Whether in a DJ set or as a hybrid live act, Township Rebellion works with narrative progressions, building and releasing density and opting for organic transitions rather than abrupt cuts. The result is a flow that provides structure while leaving room to follow the immediate impact of the tracks. This approach has been tried and tested in European clubs and festivals — and at Cassiopeia it meets a setting that supports the focused, immersive side of their sound without losing sight of its physical directness.
