3 collectives, 2 rooms, 1 big perreo. On May 8th, we take over Umi (Brussels) for a night. For the first time, we are opening two rooms. All night long, the full spectrum of Latin American sounds will unfold, but never the same way twice. If one room goes duro (latincore, hard drums, guaracha...), the other will go suave (reggaeton, dembow, cumbia...). You choose your vibe.
Inviting for this edition: Felina, the project of Linapary and Bzzhound, Colombian producers, performers and DJs now based in Madrid. Conceived as an artistic and curatorial platform, Felina supports Latinx artists touring Spain and bridges underground scenes across Europe. With a monthly residency at Razzmatazz (Barcelona) since 2023, and as co-creators of the Latin Crush compilation series, they present contemporary Latin sounds in the European club context.
Viciosa and Gelatina, two Brussels-based queer collectives highlighting Latin music and culture, program neoperreo, dembow, baile funk, latincore, guaracha and experimental sounds.
