Modeselektor will bring their live set to the Sparta Schwimmclub in Frankfurt am Main on May 1, 2026. The Berlin duo Gernot Bronsert and Sebastian Szary have forged, since the late ’90s, a sound that moves between techno, electro, IDM, hip‑hop and bass music—characterized by distinct breaks, punchy basslines and digital textures. On stage they condense their repertoire, from Hello Mom! through Who Else to Extended, into a set that shifts seamlessly between driving sequences and abrupt turns without losing its momentum. Echoes of their work with Moderat and collaborations with voices from pop and rap glimmer through, but always remain subordinate to the live focus.
Vril deepens the evening with a dense, hypnotic interpretation of techno: granular soundscapes, long arcs of tension and a precise sense of space create slow, organic shifts that steadily build on the dancefloor. His releases for labels such as Giegling and Delsin coalesce here into a set that combines meticulous detail with physical impact.
DJ and producer Anna Hjalmarsson completes the line‑up with a focused club set, bringing a clear, energetic signature that ties together the live moments.
