Nathan Carter

On 3 May 2026, 3Olympia Theatre in Dublin hosts Nathan Carter, a Liverpool-born singer with Northern Irish roots who moved to Ireland at 18. A vocalist and multi-instrumentalist on accordion, guitar and piano, he bridges country and Irish folk with the easy flow of the country-and-Irish tradition. On stage, he shifts between intimate ballads, lively two-steps and well-known covers, threading Celtic colours through steel-string guitars and accordion lines. His path runs from early albums like Starting Out and The Way You Love Me to the breakthrough of Wagon Wheel in 2012, followed by Where I Wanna Be, Beautiful Life, Stayin’ Up All Night, and more recent releases Music Man and Crazy Christmas. The set draws on strong melodies, familiar standards reimagined and originals shaped by popular tradition, in a live format seen on TG4, RTÉ, BBC and PBS, with vocals at the centre and a band sound that balances country roots and Irish accents.
