Info

Bon Jovi play Dublin on 30 August 2026 at Croke Park. Formed in 1983 in New Jersey, the band shaped a sound built on sing‑along choruses, clear guitars and tight rock ballads. Their self‑titled debut in 1984 set the path, then Slippery When Wet (1986) and New Jersey (1988) pushed them into the mainstream with songs made for big crowds. In the 90s, Keep the Faith (1992) and These Days (1995) steered toward a more adult rock, before Crush (2000) marked a return to the charts. The 2000s opened the palette wider, from Have a Nice Day (2005) to the country‑tinged Lost Highway (2007).

After Richie Sambora’s departure in 2013, Phil X took over on guitar and Hugh McDonald became an official member, joining Jon Bon Jovi, David Bryan and Tico Torres. Recent albums include This House Is Not for Sale (2016), 2020 (2020) and Forever (2024). On stage, the set usually weaves staples like Livin’ on a Prayer, You Give Love a Bad Name or It’s My Life with newer tracks, leaning on a catalog designed for voices raised together.
